Get the latest news feeds faster and easier with the RSS Feeds app. From your MFP, you can customize the RSS Feeds app to display specific feeds from organizations that are related to your industry:

• Weblogs
• Subscribed online published content
• Other sources you count on for important bulletins and late-breaking news

You can access your RSS feeds at the touch of a button or have them automatically displayed on your bizhub MFP screen.

Announcement

Display an announcement on your MFP control panel as a screensaver

A strong corporate culture depends on sharing information, announcements and marketing messages with every employee — and with the Announcement app, you can customize your MFP control panel to display a corporate ad or announcement:

• Ads appear as a screensaver on the MFP when the MFP is not in use so that it never interferes with normal work
• View, pause or repeat an ad or announcement, or click on a link to view more information online
• For corporate/enterprise environments, there is the Corporate Announcements application, a PC-based software solution that allows you to manage

With the How2 app, you can watch brief video tutorials that walk you through the most common functions of your MFP. Video topics include printing from a USB drive, sending documents via email, setting finishing options and much more. You can view video tutorials by:

Connect to Twitter

Automatic tweets about your business

Now it’s easier than ever to stay in the loop with Twitter streaming timely tweets to your MFP. From the MFP, you can:

• Review and create tweets
• Like and retweet tweets
• Customize the app to display only those tweets that are most relevant to your organization With Connect to Twitter, you’ll be up-to-date on the latest corporate news bulletins and online information

Connect to Weather

Access the weather forecast at the MFP

What’s the weather like? Will it affect your drive time or your travel plans? With the Connect to Weather app, you can do all this without leaving your bizhub:

• Access weather information in your current location or in another location you select
• Connect to information from either the National Weather Service or Yahoo Weather public information site
• Get quick reference to forecast conditions with simple weather icons

Paper Templates

Additional forms and functions for your Paper Template

In addition to the Paper Templates Lite app, Paper Templates offers you extra functionality, allowing you to scan/upload your own documents to the app for future use and delete both preloaded and imported documents. In addition, the identifying watermark (“printed using Konica Minolta Paper Templates”) is removed from the bottom of each page.

Simple Copy

Easy, quick and convenient copying

The Simple Copy app makes it easy to set up your copy job. This time-saving app groups the most commonly-used copy options together, using graphical icons and buttons to guide you through the copy process in the most intuitive way possible. For your convenience, you can now specify the color, number of copies you would like to make, whether your originals are single-sided or double-sided and the paper size you need — all on the first screen.

The Simple Copy app also provides an Eco-Copy button that is predefined with settings specifically designed to reduce copying costs. Using the Simple Copy app, you can specify more advanced options, such as output format and finishing features. You can customize scanning functions, as well as specify output options like simplex, duplex, document combinations and sorting options.

Clean Planet

Recycling is easier than ever

Konica Minolta’s Clean Planet* program is the industry’s first cost-free recycling plan for all bizhub consumables. The Clean Planet app adds to our company-wide, ongoing effort to protect the environment, reduce our ecological footprint and conserve our natural resources. From your bizhub MFP, you can:

• Order bulk shipping boxes
• Print shipping labels The Clean Planet app also offers speed and convenience features. For instance, it can:
• Access your saved customer information to prepopulate order form fields with addresses and MFP serial numbers
• Display shipping box ordering and label printing options at the touch of a button without re-entering your customer and MFP data each time you order Konica Minolta is committed to providing our customers with product and service options that promote sustainability objectives

Express Connect

Higher productivity is just a touch away

Get fast, easy access to the web pages you visit most often with the Express Connect app. You can identify web pages with intuitive icons, go straight to your site without additional keystrokes and use the same simple Express Connect portal for both corporate and general websites. The Express Connect app can be easily customized to best suit your needs:

• Choose whether to display your links as large icons, small icons or in a text format
• Organize your links alphabetically or by most frequently or most recently viewed
• Control the overall appearance of the app by changing the background color, color of the text, etc. With the Express Connect app, your favorite web pages are never more than a quick touch away.
