Japan’s Energy Conservation Grand Prize
This prize is given by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to companies producing consumer machines and systems that exhibit superior performance in saving energy and natural resources. Konica Minolta’s bizhub C650/C550 won the 2007 Energy Conservation Grand Prize highlighting their outstanding energy efficiency and innovative environmental technologies.
Green Apple Award
The Green Apple Award – from the Green Organisation, an independent environmental group – is an annual international campaign to reward companies that promote environmental best practice around the world. Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) was awarded this prestigious award in 2009, in recognition of their pioneering environmental project ‘Going Green with the Blues.’
Evergreen Award
The U.S. government’s General Services Administration’s (GSA) Evergreen Award Program recognises the efforts of business partners in recycling, affirmative procurement and waste reduction. Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. received the 2009 Evergreen Award for its commitment to global green initiatives, including efforts to maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
